Bike it Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha's Arnaud Tonus was fourth overall at a hot Fermo circuit on the east coast of Italy for the fifteenth and last round of the FIM Motocross World Championship. The Swiss pulled equal on points for the final podium step for the second Grand Prix in a row and has finished behind Gautier Paulin in the final MX2-GP series standings with fifth place.

18,000 fans somehow found a ledge around the steep inclines of the slick and hard-pack track that was littered with jumps.

Tonus ties for podium result in Germany

The Grand Prix of Europe at the German circuit of Gaildorf saw Bike it Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha's Arnaud Tonus just miss out on his first podium finish with the YZ250F as the Swiss tied on points for third position overall but was classified fourth due to the second moto ranking. The stylish 2011 MX2 British Champion scored third and fourth positions but was edged off the box by Jeffrey Herlings.

Bike it Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha's Arnaud Tonus has won the high profile MX2 Maxxis British Championship in his first campaign on the YZ250F and gave the British team their second consecutive crown on UK soil.

The stylish Swiss won all three 20 minute motos last weekend in Scotland to toast his first major title after team-mate, defending champion and main rival Zach Osborne had to return to his native USA last month with a shoulder injury.

Bike it Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha's Arnaud Tonus finished fifth overall and was the best YZ250F runner at a slippery and restrictive Loket circuit for the Casino Bonver Grand Prix of Czech Republic. The Swiss went into the start gate first courtesy of his maiden career pole position on Saturday but a pair of mediocre getaways on the slick hard-pack saw him denied a first podium of the 2011 FIM Motocross World Championship by five points.

Paulin 5th and three YZ250Fs in Lommel top ten

The Grand Prix of Limburg at the Lommel circuit represented the eleventh round of fifteen in the FIM Motocross World Championship and Monster Energy Yamaha's Gautier Paulin was able to finish 5th overall on the prototype YZ250FM and head the first of three Yamahas in the top ten of the MX2-GP class.

Monster Energy Yamaha's Gautier Paulin finished runner-up in the Grand Prix of Germany at a heavily rutted and sweltering Talkessel circuit in Teutschenthal and took the prototype YZ250FM to its first chequered flag of 2011 with victory in the second moto.

The Frenchman prevented local hero Ken Roczen from going for a double race win in front of a massive 40,000 crowd at the historic venue and in doing so collected his sixth podium in a row; a run of form better than anyone else in the fiercely competitive class.

Fifth consecutive podium for Paulin

Gautier Paulin captured third position on his prototype YZ250FM at Uddevalla and the Grand Prix of Sweden to toast his fifth consecutive podium result of the 2011 FIM Motocross World Championship after eight rounds of fifteen.

The Frenchman was a strong runner-up behind eventual GP winner Ken Roczen in the first moto and rode another lonely race to third spot in the second outing for his spoils in Scandinavia.
