Frossard and Charlier get green light for Italy
Monster Energy Yamaha will welcome back two of their riders this weekend at Fermo for the Grand Prix of Italy and the third round of the FIM Motocross World Championship.

Steven Frossard has been using a bicycle only several days after an operation on his right knee to remove the anterior cruciate ligament following an incident in the qualification heat for last weekend’s Grand Prix of Bulgaria. The 2011 MX1-GP runner-up is ready to attempt practice and qualification on Saturday. The Frenchman will be joined in the Rinaldi-led splinter of the Monster Energy Yamaha by Christophe Charlier. Today the former European Champion rode his factory YZ250FM for the first time since breaking his right foot earlier this month and was free of pain or any discomfort. He is now set to make his debut as a works representative and on the prototype machine.

Both Frossard and Charlier will join David Philippaerts, Shaun Simpson (MX1-GP) and replacement riders Michael Leib and Mel Pocock (MX2-GP) at Fermo to bring the Monster Energy Yamaha crew up to a full rider roster for the first time this season. Zach Osborne and Arnaud Tonus continue their respective recovery and rehabilitations.
