Evgeny Bobryshev is a new addition to Yamaha’s Grand Prix fleet for 2008 courtesy of a freshly signed two year association with the Van Beers Team. The coming season will be his first in the MX2 World Championship and where he will be the only Russian competitor at the highest level. 

The teenager joins the ranks of the world’s elite on a YZ250F partly thanks to his excellent performance at the 2007 European Motocross of Nations where he beat at least three works Grand Prix racers. He also ended his campaign as Russian national champion.
