2010 sees the Yamaha Monster Energy Ricci Motocross Team split their attentions between the MX1-GP and MX2-GP classes. Formally the Italians dedicated themselves to the smaller cylinder category, delivering victories in the last three seasons with the YZ250F and through their growing association with the YRRD (Yamaha Rinaldi Research and Development) group.

They welcome proven Grand Prix winner Ken De Dycker in their development efforts with the YZ450F this season and will continue to assist the growing talents of Loic Larrieu and Alessandro Lupino on more familiar MX2-GP ground.
