Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. is pleased to announce that Jeremy Martin will return with the Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing team for the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season. The two-time 250MX Champion returned to the team this season and has shown strength as a title contender and a lot of perseverance coming back from injuries. He is currently riding the wave of back-to-back overall victories in the 250 class and looks to keep building on his success with the team.
Martin Scores Second-Straight Overall Win at Washougal

Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing’s Jeremy Martin came out on top in a drama-filled Moto 2 at yesterday’s Washougal National to secure back-to-back overall victories in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250 class with a 3-1 result. Justin Cooper won the first moto but crashed late in the second moto. The points leader soldiered on to join his teammate on the podium in third and expand his lead in the championship. Unfortunately, Colt Nichols also crashed in the final laps of Moto 2 and was unable to finish, ending the day 15th overall. Jarrett Frye also had a tough day in the challenging conditions, finishing right behind his teammate in 16th.
Martin Sweeps Spring Creek

Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing’s Jeremy Martin came out swinging with a pair of moto wins today for his first overall victory of the season in front of his home crowd at the Spring Creek National. His teammate Justin Cooper finished third overall to leave Millville, Minnesota, with the points lead in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250MX Championship. Colt Nichols joined them inside the top 10 with sixth overall. Jarrett Frye broke the top 10 in Moto 1 but finished 14th overall after getting caught up in a pileup in Moto 2. Unfortunately, Nate Thrasher was sidelined after a crash on the opening lap of the first moto.
Cooper Keeps Podium Streak Rolling at Southwick

Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing’s Justin Cooper dug deep on a tough day and finished third overall at yesterday’s Southwick National to gain five points in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250MX Championship. Colt Nichols had a solid ride to finish fifth. Jeremy Martin bounced back from early crashes in both motos to end the day 13th. The team’s up-and-coming riders, Jarrett Frye and Nate Thrasher finished 15th and 16th, respectively.
Cooper Makes Championship Gains with Moto 2 Victory at RedBud

Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing’s Justin Cooper scored his second moto win of the season in yesterday’s Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250MX Moto 2 to finish second overall at the RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan. The New Yorker made gains in the title chase closing the gap to the championship leader to eight points, while Jeremy Martin toughed it out for a top-five finish. Rookie Levi Kitchen had a solid debut race inside the top 10 in Moto 1, ending the day 12th overall. Nate Thrasher was ninth in Moto 2 to finish right behind his teammate in 13th and Colt Nichols and Jarrett Frye were 17th and 18th, respectively.
Cooper Scores Dominant Moto 2 Victory at High Point

Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing’s Justin Cooper kept his podium streak rolling with a dominant victory in the second 250MX moto to secure third overall (5-1) at yesterday’s Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania. Colt Nichols returned to the box with a second-place finish in the first moto, ultimately ending the day fourth overall with a fifth-place finish in Moto 2. Jarrett Frye overcame adversity from a crash in the first moto to finish 17th (29-12).
