Cooper Claims Another Moto Victory on His Way to Second at Unadilla
14 August 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Justin Cooper put together another strong performance to earn the runner-up spot at his home state track of Unadilla as the 2022 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250MX Championship hit its final stretch. Nearly mimicking his Washougal performance, the New Yorker earned the second moto win after a top-five finish in the first moto, taking another second overall finish. Cooper’s teammates would run in the top 10, with Nick Romano returning to the series with a career-best moto finish of fourth to end the day seventh overall (4-9), while Nate Thrasher collected ninth overall (10-7).

Cooper Scores First Moto Victory of 2022 at Washougal
24 July 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Justin Cooper returned to the top, scoring his first moto victory of the 2022 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season in the second moto at the Washougal MX Park. The New Yorker’s dominant victory and fourth-place result in the first moto resulted in a second overall finish and has him sitting comfortably in fourth in the 250MX points standings. His teammate Nate Thrasher overcame challenges to salvage a ninth-place result (13-7) in Washougal, Washington.

Cooper Finishes Fourth Overall at Spring Creek
17 July 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Justin Cooper fought back from adversity to end the day fourth overall with a 6-3 moto score at Round 7 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship in Millville, Minnesota. It was a tough Spring Creek National for his teammates Nate Thrasher and Nick Romano, who came together in the second moto and ended the day 12th and 25th, respectively.

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing Injury Update
13 July 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Levi Kitchen broke his wrist today in a crash at the team’s training facility in Cairo, Georgia. He will undergo surgery tomorrow to try and return for the final four rounds of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The team hopes to have their full line-up of riders at the Unadilla National, Round 8 of the 12-round championship, on Saturday, August 13, in New Berlin, New York.

Cooper Back on the Podium in Southwick
10 July 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Justin Cooper made his podium return at the sandy track of The Wick 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts, finishing Round 6 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250MX Championship third overall (3-4). Levi Kitchen came alive in the final moto to finish fourth overall (8-2), while Nate Thrasher also had a comeback in the second moto to finish ninth overall (15-6). Rookies Nick Romano and Matt LeBlanc got their first taste of the one-of-a-kind track, with Romano ending the day 14th (10-15) and LeBlanc 18th (16-38) after being sidelined from a crash in the second moto.

Kitchen Battles Back to Top-Five Finish at RedBud
03 July 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Levi Kitchen finished fifth overall in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250 class with a 9-4 moto score at yesterday’s RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan. Justin Cooper also fought back from adversity to end the day seventh overall (7-9), and Nate Thrasher joined them in the top 10 with a 10-7 result. Rookies Nick Romano and Matt LeBlanc were 15th (12-16) and 20th (19-19), respectively.
