Shane McElrath


Shane McElrath joined the professional ranks in 2013. Since then, the North Carolina native has proven himself to be a top title contender year-after-year, scoring a total of sixcareer Supercross wins and is a two time runner-up in the 250SX West title hunt (2015 & 2017). Although the 2019 250SX season was challenging due to a mid-season injury, McElrath managed to finished eighth overall in the 250SX West Championship and showed strength with his 3-2-1 result in Round 3 of Supercross that scored him the season’s Anaheim Triple Crown 250SX class victory.

New to the Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing team, McElrath brings his seasoned experience to the squad and looks forward to a successful 2020 season aboard his Yamaha YZ250F.
