Yamaha YZ250F

Yamaha YZ250F

The Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing YZ250F is packed full of race winning innovation and proven technology. Derived from a production model Yamaha YZ250F, the race version includes a host of advancements starting with the engine that has been developed to deliver a broad torque curve giving the racer an, “easy to ride” feel, and provides a high RPM power to aid in getting off to great starts.

Other upgrades include suspension with the KYB PSF1 fork known for its lightweight, and great adjustability on race day, along with a Vortex ECU in which the team develops its own custom maps within the Vortex software to achieve optimal performance at every race. Each year the entire team works hard to create custom parts out of titanium and other lightweight materials with the goal of getting the motorcycle as light as possible per the rule book. No stone goes unturned, from triple clamps to engine mounts, from fuel to tyres, race development and testing is a never-ending process that continues all year long.

The Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing 250 team would like to thank its technical partners for their support: Yamalube, GYTR, Parts Unlimited, Rekluse, FMF, Dunlop, Motion Pro, Works Connection, VP Fuels, Kite, Twin Air, KYB, Cycra, Light Speed, Arc, Race Tech Titanium, Boxo Tools, and Anti-Gravity Batteries.
