Considered one of the sport’s up-and-coming riders, Jarrett Frye joined Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing in 2019. The young rider from Mechanicsville, Maryland, turned heads with dominant performances at the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross and the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. He then went on to take the number-one plate in the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) B/C class at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.
Frye made his debut in the Pro Motocross 250MX Championship last year at the Spring Creek National. The rookie continued to make progress, scoring a pair of top 10s at the final two rounds of the season to end 2020 15th in the standings.
