In main 1, Barcia got off to a decent start in in eighth, but unfortunately as the race wore on he started to lose positions, ultimately crossing the line 11th. His teammate Grant, who is filling in for the injured Aaron Plessinger, made a valiant effort to come from 18th to finish 13th.
Both riders had a much better start in the second main event with Barcia fighting for fifth and Grant, an improved 12th position. Grant was the first to fall, over jumping a triple and tweaking his neck. The veteran racer tried to resume his race, but was too uncomfortable to continue, sitting out the rest of the night.
Barcia followed shortly afterwards with a big crash in the whoops, knocking the wind out of him and bothering his already ailing shoulder. Although both riders were unable to start the third main, Barcia and Grant still tallied points to finish 17th and 20th overall, respectively, and take home some valuable points in the 450SX championship.
