Malcolm Stewart

New recruit Malcolm Stewart joins the Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing Team in 2021. Affectionately known as Mookie, he made his pro debut in 2011 and received the accolade of AMA Motocross Rookie of the Year. He went on to have a successful career in the 250 ranks culminated by the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX East Championship.

In 2017, Stewart moved up to the 450SX Championship and has shown a lot of potential in the stacked premier class. After being sidelined early in 2019 with an injury at the Glendale supercross round, the Florida rider bounced back in 2020 with his best 450 season thus far. He really started hitting his stride in the seven-race run in Salt Lake City, finishing fourth at the season finale to end the year seventh in the standings. Stewart looks to build on that momentum with the Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing team.
