Broc Hepler

Motocross Lites campaigner Broc Hepler endured a tough first year with Yamaha in 2007 after a pre-season practice crash ruled him out of the East Coast Supercross series and also affected part of his motocross season. He was later able to vindicate some of the faith placed in his abilities by the team with an overall podium finish outdoors in Texas.

Hepler races the YZ250F with a fine pedigree in the category. The 21 year old finished second in the 2004 championship and also shone indoors that term where he was East Coast vice-champ. He has been trying to reach the same heights of that ’04 campaign where he was named as AMA Motocross/Supercross Rookie of the year.

Hepler grabbed two motocross wins and three podiums in 2005 and then three victories and a further two rostrum appearances (from just nine races) in 2006 but injury problems did not help his chase for the titles.

Aiming to put some recent troubled times behind him for 2008 Hepler could be an outside bet for success over the coming months.
