Adrien van Beveren Launches Raffle to Support the Red Cross

Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Official Team rider, Adrien van Beveren, has organised a raffle to win his YZF450 MX bike. All the proceeds from the raffle will be donated directly to the Red Cross, a humanitarian organisation working to support both medical services, patients and vulnerable groups throughout Europe during the current Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak.

Van Beveren came up with the idea to support the Red Cross while recovering at home after his event ending crash on stage 3 of this year's Dakar Rally.

"Containment is the only real solution if we are to rid the world of the Covid-19 virus," declared van Beveren. "However, it is really difficult to remain inactive at home in the face of such a dire situation, so I looked for a way in which I could support those on the front line in the battle against this virus."

The Yamaha rider decided to offer his own bike, the Yamaha YZ450F on which he trained ahead of the 2020 Dakar Rally, as the prize in an online raffle. Registration costs just 5€ and all profits will be donated directly to the Red Cross.

You can purchase a ticket for the raffle online and read the terms and conditions by clicking here.

The winner will be announced once restrictions brought in to combat the spread of coronavirus have been lifted.

In the meantime, van Beveren continues to focus on his recovery.

"My recovery is going very well. My last medical check was positive, and I am taking advantage of the quarantine to continue working to get back to full fitness, including strengthening exercises for my injured shoulder," explained van Beveren.
