Pole Position for YART Yamaha EWC at the Bol d'Or

The YART Yamaha EWC team will start the 83rd edition of the Bol d'Or at Circuit Paul Ricard from pole position tomorrow, after dominating qualifying today. Loris Baz, Marvin Fritz, Niccolò Canepa and reserve rider, Karel Hanika, all topped their respective qualifying sessions this morning, with Baz also setting a new outright lap record.
YART Yamaha EWC Chasing Victory in Bol d'Or Season Opener

The YART Yamaha EWC Team is set to return to action this week as they chase the win at the Bol d'Or, the opening round of the 2019/2020 FIM Endurance World Championship. The team will field a slightly revised rider line-up for the race, with Yamaha WorldSBK rider Loris Baz standing in for Broc Parkes, who is racing in the penultimate round of the Asia Road Racing Championship the same weekend.

The YART Yamaha EWC Team enjoyed a very successful two-day pre-season test this week at the Paul Ricard circuit in France, ahead of the 24-hour Bol D’Or race which will open the 2020 Endurance World Championship.

After a short summer break following an impressive sixth place finish at the prestigious Suzuka 8 Hours in July, the YART Yamaha EWC Team are already gearing up for a return to action at the Bol d'Or on 21 and 22 September. Second in last year's race, the team will field a revised rider line-up for the opening round of the 2019/2020 FIM Endurance World Championship at Le Castellet, with Loris Baz replacing Broc Parkes, who will be racing for Yamaha in the penultimate round of the Asia Road Racing Championship the same weekend.
Yamaha Factory Racing Team Finish 2nd in Thrilling 2019 Suzuka 8 Hours

At the 42nd "Coca-Cola" Suzuka 8 Hours, Katsuyuki Nakasuga, Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark of the Yamaha Factory Racing Team took the #21 YZF-R1 to 2nd place, securing the fifth consecutive podium finish at Suzuka for Yamaha since the return of the factory team in 2015.
