Riders and Teams Jamie McCanney

Jamie McCanney

Following a stellar season aboard WR250F machinery that saw him claim five victories and another eight top three class results, Jamie McCanney wrapped up his first season with the Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team as the 2017 Enduro 2 World Championship runner-up.

Making the switch to enduro competition back in 2012, the Manxman has risen to the top of the junior scene by winning both the FIM Youth Cup title in 2013 and the Enduro Junior World Championship two years later.

With 2016 being Jamie’s first season aboard WR250F machinery, he wrapped up an injury-hit year with four Enduro 1 podium results and an impressive third in the Enduro 2 class at the International Six Days Enduro in Spain.

Joining the Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro team in 2017 Jamie demonstrated his potential by taking the battle for the coveted Enduro 2 World Championship title to the very last GP. Remaining aboard the Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team’s WR250F machine, for 2018 the Manxman is set to battle for top honours in the revised 250cc Enduro 1 class.
