Victory for Cable in Basse-Ham

Victory for Cable in Basse-Ham

The Yamaha EX/EXR Cup got underway in Basse-Ham few kilometers from the Luxembourg and German border on 26th May as part of a feature event within the P1 Jetcross watercraft racing championship.

The EX/EXR cup is aimed at attracting Yamaha EX or EXR owners to try their hand at competitive racing with the help and support of an on-site Yamaha team.

One of the competitors was novice racer Lorensa Masson from Nice in the south of France, who purchased his new EXR from a local dealer several weeks before the event. “We went last year to see our first ever PWC competition in Port Balis, Spain and we decided with my dad to start racing this year. We bought two 2019 WaveRunner Yamahas, an FX SVHO for my dad and an EXR for me. I decided to start my first ever race in La Seyne to learn, and I had a blast, so I decided to follow the whole Jetcross Championship and obviously the EX/EXR” explained Lorensa. “I love the Cup for the atmosphere in the pit and all the support from Yamaha crew”.

Lorensa’s second outing on the EXR landed her ninth overall and a first place in the Sport Ladies JX4. “I’m here to improve my riding, and I want to congratulate Elliot Cable for his second victory in a row on the EX/EXR Cup” said Lorensa.

The next event will take place on the biggest lake in Belgium in Eau d’Heure Lakes on June 22-23.
