GYTR Kitted Yamaha Stars Bonacorsi & Reisulis Lead EMX250 & EMX125 Championships after Thrilling Performances in Trentino
16 April 2023 The majestic Dolomite Mountains served as a stunning setting for the second rounds of the EMX125 and EMX250 Championships, which took place alongside the MXGP of Trentino in Pietramurata, Italy. In a spectacular display of prowess, MJC Yamaha Official EMX125's Janis Reisulis steered his GYTR-kitted YZ125 to a commanding double race victory. This exceptional performance secured him the EMX125 Championship lead and a memorable round win – his first of the season. At the same time, Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250’s Andrea Bonacorsi extended his EMX250 Championship lead with a 1-2 finish to celebrate his home Grand Prix on the second step of the podium, but with the same points as the eventual round winner.

Reisulis Secures Podium Silverware in Switzerland
10 April 2023 MJC Yamaha Official EMX125’s Janis Reisulis got his EMX125 title charge off to a bitter-sweet start at the opening round of the EMX125 Championship in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. The talented Latvian finished third overall after an emphatic race win in the opening race and a solid recovery for 11th after crashing out of the lead in Race Two. At the same time, YZ125 bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup graduates Salvador Perez and Nicolai Skovbjerg each made an impressive EMX125 season debut, finishing 10th and 11th, respectively.

Dream Start to EMX250 Title Campaign for Andrea Bonacorsi & the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 Team
26 March 2023 The Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team enjoyed a dream start to the 2023 EMX250 season at the opening round of the Championship in Riola-Sardo, Sardinia. Andrea Bonacorsi went unbeaten in both races to begin his 2023 EMX250 title charge with maximum points. He was almost joined on the podium by rookie sensation Ivano van Erp, who narrowly missed the box by 2-points after finishing fourth in both races for fifth overall. Karlis Reisulis nursed a minor arm injury home to 11th.

Yamaha Confirms Strong Young Line-Up for 2023 EMX250 & EMX125 Championships
16 November 2022 Yamaha Motor Europe is pleased to confirm the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team will field a strong three-rider line-up in 2023, while the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team will field an all-new and potent two-rider line-up for its 2023 EMX125 Championship campaign. Yamaha and Hutten Metaal have retained EMX250 title challenger Andrea Bonacorsi for a third season and are poised to welcome Ivano van Erp and Karlis Reisulis as they step up the Yamaha Racing pyramid. At the same time, Yamaha is excited to welcome Janis Reisulis and Julius Mikula to the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team. All five riders will campaign GYTR-kitted versions of the YZ250F and YZ125 in their respective championships.

Nancy van de Ven Clinches Maiden WMX World Title in Turkey
02 September 2022 Nancy van de Ven has been crowned World Champion at the fifth and final round of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. The 24-year-old Dutch wonder-woman arrived with a 25-point lead in the series and did exactly what she needed in the final two races to secure her maiden world title with a 6-8 finish for eighth overall. Fellow Yamaha stars Larissa Papenmeier and Lynn Valk put in stellar rides to finish second and fourth at the Turkish round. That was enough for Valk to secure the championship silver medal and Papenmeier the bronze, making it a total “blue-wash” of the top-three positions for Yamaha. As a result, Yamaha has claimed the WMX Manufacturer’s world title for the seventh time in the past 11 years.

Ivano van Erp Crowned Junior 125cc World Champion
29 August 2022 MJC Yamaha Official EMX125’s Ivano van Erp secured his second Junior World Championship gold medal after a stunning performance aboard his GYTR kitted YZ125 at the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in Vantaa, Finland.
