Karlis Reisulis made his EMX125 debut in 2020 at round five of the nine-round series, in Mantova, Italy. Impressively, the 15-year-old finished seventh in both races for seventh overall and quickly established himself as one of the best performing rookies. 

In 2021, the young Latvian bounced back from a costly pre-season injury to end his first full EMX125 term with two podium finishes. The 16-year-old eventually proved his true potential after starting the 2022 season fit and healthy to finish as the EMX125 Championship runner-up.

In '22, the number '47' powered his GYTR kitted YZ125 to a brilliant race win and five podium finishes, and earned his place on the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team for 2023, where he will recieve the best material and support for his rookie EMX250 campaign.
