Andrew Short Impresses On Stage Three Of Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge
09 November 2021 The Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team continues to enjoy positive results at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge with Andrew Short completing the stage three special as the third fastest rider. Maintaining a strong pace throughout, the American secured his best stage result of the event so far and now moves up to fourth in the overall provisional classification. Yesterday’s stage winner, Adrien Van Beveren, opened the special and using his impeccable navigational skills, completed the stage in fifth, just under six minutes adrift of the winner. Following the damage sustained to his navigational equipment during his fall in stage two, the Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team and Ross Branch together decided it was best to not compete, so as to fully prepare his bike for the final two days of competition.

Stage Two Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge Victory For Adrien Van Beveren
08 November 2021 Following on from Ross Branch’s victory on the opening day of the 2021 Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team’s Adrien Van Beveren has won stage two, continuing the team’s highly positive start to the rally. The Frenchman was faultless through the longest special stage of the event and now moves up to second place in the overall provisional classification. Ross remains well placed among the leaders in fourth with Andrew Short delivering another consistent result on stage two to maintain his sixth-place ranking.

Ross Branch Wins Opening Stage At Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge
07 November 2021 Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team’s Ross Branch has begun the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge in the best way possible with victory on stage one. Up to speed and confident in his ability to master the challenging sand dunes that formed a large part of the special, Branch moved into the lead mid-way through the opening stage and now lies at the top of the overall provisional classification. Rounding out a highly positive start to the event for the team, Adrien Van Beveren and Andrew Short brought their Yamaha WR450F Rally machines home in fifth and sixth place, respectively.

04 November 2021 The Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team are putting the final touches to their preparations ahead of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, and are ready for the final round of the 2021 FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. With all riders feeling confident and knowing the significance of the race as the final competitive outing ahead of the Dakar Rally next January, Adrien Van Beveren, Andrew Short, and Ross Branch are all poised and ready to take to the start on November 7.

Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team Successfully Complete Rallye Du Maroc With Adrien Van Beveren Claiming Fifth Overall
13 October 2021 Bringing to an end a highly productive week at the Rallye Du Maroc for the Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team, Adrien Van Beveren has successfully crossed the event’s finish in an impressive fifth place overall. Posting incredibly consistent stage results throughout, Van Beveren completed the final special as the ninth-fastest rider and less than four minutes behind the stage winner. For Andrew Short, the American safely brought his Yamaha WR450F Rally to the finish line in Zagora as the 12th fastest rider for ninth overall while Ross Branch placed fifth, for 26th overall.

Adrien Van Beveren Impresses On The Penultimate Day Of Racing At The Rallye Du Maroc
12 October 2021 Maintaining his impressive speed and consistency through the technical fourth stage at the Rally du Maroc, Adrien Van Beveren opened much of today’s special. Despite the arduous task, the Frenchman brought his Yamaha WR450F Rally home just 10 minutes behind the overall stage winner for a strong eighth place finish. His solid performance on the penultimate day of racing edges him one step closer to securing an overall top-five result. For teammate Andrew Short, a 12th place stage finish moves the American up to ninth in the overall provisional classification while Ross Branch encountered a technical issue.
