Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team Experience Difficult Start to Spanish GP
30 April 2022 Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team‘s Manuel Gonzalez made good progress on the Friday at the Circuito de Jerez - Ángel Nieto. Though he struggled in FP1, he made a big step in the afternoon to finish the first day of his home GP in 15th place in the combined timesheets. Keminth Kubo was unlucky that an injury to his right side ruled him out for the remainder of the Friday.

Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team Make Steps on Spanish GP Saturday
30 April 2022 Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team’s Manuel Gonzalez and Stefano Manzi (replacing Keminth Kubo, who was diagnosed with costochondritis yesterday) made progress on the Gran Premio de España Saturday. Gonzalez made a good step, allowing him to put in a bid for a top-four position in Q1. He ultimately finished 6th, taking 20th place on the grid. Manzi delivered a solid performance. Having had only the 40-minute FP3 session to prepare himself for qualifying, he secured 26th place on the grid.

Double Score for Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team in Portimão Restart
25 April 2022 The Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team scored points with both riders for the first time in the outfit’s debut year. Manuel Gonzalez put in a podium bid today in a seven-lap restart before finishing in fifth place. Keminth Kubo battled to 12th, securing his first ever championship points.

Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team Take P18 and P21 In Dry Portuguese GP Qualifying
24 April 2022 Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team’s Keminth Kubo and Manuel Gonzalez faced challenging qualifying sessions today. Having ridden in only full wet sessions so far this Grande Prémio de Portugal weekend, both the teammates found themselves riding with slicks during qualifying. Kubo was unlucky to suffer a crash in Q2 before being able to get a benchmark lap in, leaving him in P18. Gonzalez showed promise in the Q1 session, but ultimately finished in seventh place. He will start tomorrow’s race from P21.

Kubo Marks Moto2 Return by Taking P12 on Portimão Friday
23 April 2022 Yamaha VR46 Master Camp Team’s Keminth Kubo made it seem as if he had never left during today’s tricky wet Moto2 FP2 session. After missing the Americas GP, he made his comeback at a fully wet and slippery track in Portimão memorable. The rookie cruised to a stellar P12. Manuel Gonzalez struggled to find a good feeling. He pushed hard until the very end of the afternoon session to take P26 in the combined timesheets.
