This weekend PETRONAS Yamaha Sepang Racing Team’s MotoGP duo of Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli will be in action for the second race running at MotorLand Aragón, as they take on the third event in the October triple header: the Gran Premio de Teruel.
After a disappointing race at the Aragon GP, which saw Quartararo suffer from a front tyre pressure issue, the Frenchman will be looking to reclaim his lead in the championship standings. After taking pole position last weekend at MotorLand Aragón, Fabio is confident in the one-lap pace of his bike and that he can end the second race at the circuit with a better result.
Team-mate Morbidelli gained vital knowledge at the Spanish circuit last weekend, and will be looking to put it to good use in the 11th round of the MotoGP championship. After securing a good haul of points, which maintained his sixth position in the championship, the Italian will be aiming to close the gap to his nearest championship rivals.
PETRONAS Yamaha SRT, who go into the Gran Premio de Teruel second in the teams’ championship, will be out on track for Friday’s FP1 session at 10.55am local time (4.55pm MYT). Sunday’s 23-lap MotoGP race will take place at 1pm local time (7pm MYT).
