Jago Geerts

Eighteen-year-old Belgian talent, Jago Geerts is one of Europe's hottest prospects and already has an impressive list of achievements including two EMX titles, in 2014 and 2016, and a Junior 125cc World Title, which he claimed in 2016 in Russia.

Hailing from one of the most prolific countries in motocross, Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha MX2 hopes to guide the young Belgian to the top of the MX2 World Championship. Having completed one full season with the Belgium based Kemea team, where he incredibly celebrated his first ever podium finish as a pro from the second step of the box in Latvia last year.

There is also a unique connection between Kemea’s Team Manager - one of Belgium's finest - Marnicq Bervoets, and Jago’s father, Herman Gevers, who stood next to Bervoets - as his mechanic - during some of the Belgian's most successful years. In the future Bervoets hopes to return the favour by standing behind Jago as he strives to achieve that same kind of success.
