Yamaha Motor Europe Confirms Unchanged MXGP Rider Line-Up for 2023
13 October 2022 Yamaha Motor Europe is pleased to announce that Jeremy Seewer, Maxime Renaux and Glenn Coldenhoff will remain with the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP team in 2023, racing the premier class of the FIM Motocross World Championship, with all three riders targeting the MXGP crown aboard the Factory YZ450FM.

Tomac & Cooper Help Team USA Conquer the World in RedBud, as Renaux & Ferrandis Secure Silver for France
25 September 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac and Justin Cooper helped Team USA to a thrilling home-soil victory at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in RedBud, Michigan. Cooper conquered the pressure and the rain-battered conditions to win the MX2 class, while Tomac was second in the premier-class standings after a stunning race win and a sixth. Team France made a return to the podium as the silver medalists thanks to the results of Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Maxime Renaux and Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Dylan Ferrandis. Renaux was victorious in the MXGP class ahead of Tomac and Yamaha teammate Jeremy Seewer, while Ferrandis ended a hard-fought weekend third.

Seewer Nails Ninth Podium As Yamaha Clinches Manufacturer’s World Title in Turkey
03 September 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Jeremy Seewer uncorked his ninth bottle of podium champagne at the 18th and final round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. The Swiss rider, who secured the silver medal in France two weeks ago, enjoyed the last round of 2022, going 2-4 for second overall. At the same time, Maxime Renaux dominated proceedings in Qualifying and turned Pole Position into a stunning race victory in race one, but unfortunately suffered an unusual technical issue in race two and finished eighth. He was classified fourth overall and narrowly missed the championship bronze medal by 11-points. Glenn Coldenhoff finished ninth in Turkey and fifth in the MXGP Championship Standings, 3-points behind Renaux. Thanks to the efforts of the entire Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP team, Renaux, Seewer and Coldenhoff, and Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha’s Calvin Vlaanderen, Yamaha won the Manufacturer’s World Championship for the first time since 2015.

Seewer Secures MXGP Silver Medal in Saint Jean d'Angely
21 August 2022 Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Jeremy Seewer has secured his place as the 2022 MXGP World Championship runner-up at the 17th and penultimate round of the series in Saint Jean d’Angely, France. The Swiss sensation locked up his fifth silver medal with a 1-3 scorecard for third overall at the MXGP Charente Maritime. Teammates Maxime Renaux and Glenn Coldenhoff were classified fifth and sixth, respectively.
