Pata Yamaha Official STK1000 Team

After a rollercoaster but ultimately successful debut, closing 2016 with three consecutive podiums and sitting fourth in the rider championship, 2017 will see Yamaha retain its partnership with Pata Yamaha Official STK1000 Team as the ‘FIM Superstock 1000 Cup’ becomes the ‘European Superstock 1000 Championship’.

The young team, now with three years’ experience in the STK1000 class, holds significant ambition for increased growth and achievement and will continue to run parallel activities on both the world stage and at national level as its riders compete in the Italian (CIV) Superbike Championship. Based north of Italy’s Roman capital, a pure passion for motorcycles and a strong history with Yamaha remains Team Manager Sandro Carusi’s driving force, while his close relationship to Vanni Lorenzini – a long-respected and experienced presence in the WorldSBK paddock – provides the Pata Yamaha Official STK1000 Team with the complete package as it challenges for rider, team and manufacturer title honours in 2017.
