Yamaha Racing supported driver Brock Heger, in his Yamaha Maxxis Weller Racing  YXZ1000R has earned himself a creditable resume in the Production 1000 UTV class, competing in both short course and open desert formats of racing.

In 2018, Heger captured his second consecutive Production 1000 Championship in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS). Heger and his YXZ1000R secured four first place finishes and six podium finishes to capture the 2018 Championship, and bLU cRU championship bonus of $15,000, with a 64-point lead ahead of the next competitor. Heger looks to build on his existing short course competition in 2020 and continues to race in all forms of off-roading, including entry into the iconic King of the Hammers event driving a Greeves Motorsports built Yamaha YXZ1000R.
