Last time out in Portimao, Garrett Gerloff showed good speed and race craft, and although the results didn’t tell the full story, the American’s ride from 17th to ninth in Sunday’s feature-length contest showed he was more than capable of fighting further up the field.
On the other side of the box, Kohta Nozane is looking to bounce back from a difficult outing in the Algarve at one of his favourite circuits, having enjoyed a solid round in his rookie campaign at San Juan last year.
Race 1 will get underway at 15:00 local time (GMT -3) after the Friday practice sessions and Superpole qualifier, with Race 2 starting exactly 24 hours later on Sunday, following the SPRC at 12:00.
