Lorenzo Baldassarri

Lorenzo Baldassarri won the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2011, and progressed through Moto3 into Moto2 by 2014.

His first of 12 Moto2 podiums came in the 2015 Australian GP, while his maiden victory came at his home round, Misano, the year after. Baldassarri would stand on the top step of the rostrum four more times, with his best championship performance coming in 2018, when he was fifth. 

The 25-year-old then joined the Evan Bros Yamaha WorldSSP Supported Team in the FIM Supersport World Championship for 2022. Despite his an experience with the Yamaha R6, the Italian was victorious from pole position on his maiden weekend at Aragon.

He ended the season second in the standings with four wins and 16 podiums, and now steps up to the FIM Superbike World Championship for 2023, where he'll ride for the GMT94 Yamaha WorldSBK Team.
