Niccolò Canepa was the first Italian to win an FIM Endurance World Championship after lifting the 2016/2017 title in just his second season with the GMT94 Yamaha Official EWC Team. The 2007 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup Champion has also competed in the MotoGP World Championship, Moto2 World Championship, WorldSBK Championship, WorldSSP Championship, and the Superstock 600 European Championship and this season brings this wealth of experience to the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team
