Caricasulo Steals Pole for WorldSSP Title Showdown

The three contenders for the 2019 Supersport World Championship crown will start tomorrow's title showdown from the front row of the grid, with Bardahl Yamaha's Federico Caricasulo narrowly beating teammate Randy Krummenacher and GMT94 Yamaha's Jules Cluzel to pole position in a closely contested Superpole qualifying session in Qatar today.
Krummenacher Crowned Supersport World Champion in Qatar

Bardahl Evan Bros. Yamaha Supported WorldSSP rider, Randy Krummenacher, was crowned as the 2019 Supersport World Champion, after an eventful race in Qatar that he finished in fifth place. Teammate Federico Caricasulo's challenge for the title was effectively ended on the opening lap, when he experienced a technical issue that dogged him throughout the race. The final race of the season was won by Lucas Mahias, with GMT94 Yamaha's Jules Cluzel and Kallio Racing Yamaha's Isaac Viñales joining the Frenchman on the podium.

The battle for supremacy in the 2019 FIM Supersport World Championship is set to continue in Magny-Cours this weekend, after Bardahl Evan Bros Yamaha Supported WorldSSP rider, Randy Krummenacher, saw his lead in the championship standings reduced to just ten points by his teammate, Federico Caricasulo, who won last time out in Portimão.

GMT94 Yamaha Supported WorldSSP rider, Jules Cluzel, secured his third race win of the season with a dominant performance in a thrilling WorldSSP race at Circuito San Juan Villicum today. The Frenchman, who celebrated his 31st birthday yesterday, took over the race lead from his teammate and pole sitter, Corentin Perolari, two laps into the race and simply rode away from the field to victory.

GMT94 Yamaha Supported WorldSBK rider Corentin Perolari mastered the tricky track conditions at Circuito San Juan Villicum to top the timesheet on the opening day in Argentina. The Bardahl Evan Bros. Yamaha pairing of Federico Caricasulo and Randy Krummenacher made it a Yamaha lockout on the provisional front row by finishing second and third respectively.
