Jules Cluzel, the winner of the first WorldSSP race at Circuito San Juan Villicum last year, ended the day fifth fastest aboard his GMT94 Yamaha YZF-R6, while Kallio Racing Yamaha's Isaac Viñales, a podium finisher last time out in Magny-Cours, was 11th.
Loris Cresson posted the 13th quickest time aboard his Kallio Racing Yamaha YZF-R6, with teammate Thomas Gradinger three places further back in 16th position.
