After showing promise throughout his early national career, Andy Verdoïa found title success in the Champion of Spain Promovelocitat Moto4 in 2014. in 2018, the French youngster took part in three FIM Supersport 300 World Championship rounds, having been selected as part of Yamaha's bLU cRU program.
He impressed on his outings, and In 2019 Verdoïa contested the full WorldSSP300 season as a bLU cRU rider. Despite it being only his maiden year, the Nice-born rider was consistently in the fight for victory, scoring two podiums at Misano (P3) and Donington (P2), and eventually finished fourth in the standings.
This earned him a step up to the FIM Supersport World Championship class in 2020 with the Yamaha MS Racing WorldSSP Supported Team. His solid season came with a surprise victory in Barcelona, and he ended the campaign in 16th.
In 2021, Verdoïa raced outside the world championship paddock, but returned with the GMT94 Yamaha WorldSSP Supported Team as a wildcard at Magny-Cours and Barcelona, showing strong pace inside the top 10.
This season, he returns to the French squad for a full season assault and now, with more experience behind him, Verdoïa will be looking at challenging for podiums and race wins.
