Isaac Viñales makes his debut in the Supersport World Championship in 2019 with the Kallio Racing Yamaha squad. The 25-year-old Spaniard is an experienced competitor, having started his racing career raced successfully in the hotly contested Spanish CEV series before racing on the world stage in the 125cc, Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships.
Viñales claimed four podium finishes in two seasons in the Moto3 World Championship and moves across to contest WorldSSP after two years campaigning a 600cc Moto2 machine, an experience that should see the Spanish rider adapt quickly to the demands of racing his Yamaha R6.
