Vertti Takala makes his debut in the FIM Supersport World Championship in 2021 with the Kallio Racing Yamaha WorldSSP Supported Team. The 26-year-old Estonian started his career in Ice Road Racing, where he championed the A250 and A450 classes, racing against the likes of MotoGP's Mika Kallio.
Takala raced for the Kallio Racing Junior Team in the Spanish Supersport Championship, where he scored a podium, and is aiming to achieve some strong results in his first world championship season.
