Manuel Gonzalez made his world championship debut in the 2017 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship, completing his first full season a year later. The Spaniard was a podium finisher three times and ended the season as the top Yamaha R3 runner, taking sixth in the final standings.

The following season, Gonzalez was the class of the field - taking three victories, six podiums and three pole positions on his way to the 2019 WorldSSP300 title. 

In 2020, Gonzalez joined the FIM Supersport World Championship, and showed incredible consistency, never finishing outside the top 10 on his way to seventh in the championship. 

For 2021, Gonzalez remains with the ParkinGO Team, who have switched to the Yamaha R6, where the 18-year-old will hope to push for podiums and race victories.
