bLU cRU Riders Impress in Wet on Friday as Most WorldSSP300 Round Gets Underway

The FIM Supersport 300 World Championship riders hit the Autodrom Most circuit for the first time with two Free Practice sessions, in which Biblion Motoxracing Yamaha WorldSSP300 Supported Team’s Bahattin Sofuoğlu went ninth on combined times, as he and fellow bLU cRU rider Unai Orradre impressed in the wet conditions.

Free Practice 1 kicked off proceedings in dry conditions, and Sofuoğlu enjoyed a solid start, topping the session early on. However, light rain began to fall and the Turkish youngster opted not to take to the circuit, seeing the 18-year-old end the session in ninth.

The track was well and truly wet for FP2, and Sofuoğlu made several appearances at the top of the timings, eventually ending the session just 0.030s off the fastest lap in second.

For Yamaha MS Racing WorldSSP300 Supported Team’s Orradre, FP1 saw him only set four competitive lap times, which left him down in 29th as the rain brought an early end to his running. However, the 17-year-old Spaniard was able to enjoy more track time in the wet afternoon session and went fifth fastest.
