Looking to bounce back after an unfortunate last few rounds, Turkish youngster Sofuoğlu was the first rider to record a sub 1’56 lap in FP1, firing in a 1’55.815, which remained as the fastest time of the day.
In FP2, despite not being able to match his time from the morning as track temperatures rose to 44°C, the bLU cRU rider was still able to set the session’s fastest lap, with a gap of 0.390s to his nearest rival.
Sofuoğlu will be back on track tomorrow morning for the Superpole at 09:45 CET., before Race 1 gets underway at 12:45 that afternoon.
