Front Row for Galang Hendra Pratama in Aragon

Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing's Galang Hendra Pratama will start the opening race of the 2019 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship from the front row of the grid tomorrow, after qualifying second in Superpole today. The Indonesian youngster will start directly in front of fellow bLU cRU Challenge rider, BCD Yamaha MS Racing's Andy Verdoia, who will line up in the centre of the second row after qualifying in fifth position.

Verdoia’s BCD Yamaha MS Racing teammate, Beatriz Neila, was the only other bLU cRU Challenge rider to secure automatic entry to Sunday’s 11-lap race by qualifying inside the top 30 during today’s split Superpole session. The Spanish rider will line up on the seventh row of the grid having qualified in 21st position.

Italian Jacopo Facco, riding alongside Galang Hendra in the Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing squad, and the Team Trasimeno pairing of Finn De Bruin and Kevin Sabatucci were forced to compete for the remaining six grid places in this afternoon’s 11-lap Last Chance WorldSSP300 Race.

Second place in the race secured Facco his slot on the grid for the main race, but it was disappointment for De Bruin, who retired from the race after two laps, and Sabatucci, who finished in 16th position.
