Sofuoğlu and Orradre Unable to Convert Front-Running Pace into a Result at Misano

Both bLU cRU riders endured a difficult FIM Supersport 300 World Championship race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on Saturday, with pole-sitter Bahattin Sofuoğlu falling out of race-winning contention early on, while Unai Orradre suffered the same fate with five laps remaining.

Biblion Motoxracing Yamaha WorldSSP300 Supported Team rider Sofuoğlu had got his day off to a superb start, as he flew to a first pole position of the season and a second of his WorldSSP300 career. While settling into the podium battle, the Turkish youngster fell on the fourth lap and could not continue. 

Yamaha MS Racing WorldSSP300 Supported Team’s Orradre started the race from 12th on the grid and was in the lead group until he also fell out of the race with five laps to go.
