Sofuoğlu Bounces Back from Morning Fall to End Friday at Magny-Cours in Fourth

Biblion Motoxracing Yamaha WorldSSP300 Supported Team’s Bahattin Sofuoğlu was fourth on combined times at Magny-Cours, as round five of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship round got underway.

After overnight rain, the track was still wet when Free Practice 1 got underway at the French circuit, and as Sofuoğlu exited the final chicane he caught a damp patch and was unable to get the bike restarted for the remainder of the session.

Looking to make up for the lost track time, the bLU cRU youngster completed 13 laps in FP2, going fourth fastest on a 1’54.154.

Next up for the Turkish rider will be the Tissot Superpole at 09:45 (CET), before the first of two races gets underway at 12:45 that afternoon.
