After a disappointing start to the season, Turkish rider Sofuoğlu will be looking to convert his rapid pace into strong results in round three of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship. The bLU cRU youngster was 11th in Free Practice 1, but was able to find another second in the afternoon, and was one of just two riders to record a 1’48 throughout the day.
For Orradre, he too is looking to bounce back after a difficult Donington Park weekend. The Spanish rider was immediately on the pace during FP1, and ended the morning 0.120s off the top time in second place. In FP2, the 17-year-old made a small improvement in his time, but with others making steps forward around, Orradre ended the day eighth overall.
Viñales Racing Yamaha Supported WorldSSP300 Team’s Kevin Sabatucci managed to improve on his FP1 time by almost 1.7 seconds, putting the Italian 18th overall, while his teammate for this weekend, Twan Smits, was 36th on combined times.
