Starting from pole position, Sofuoğlu dropped to seventh at the start, but was able to jump back into the top five for most of the 15-lap race. On the final lap, the Turkish youngster took the lead heading into the final section, but was boxed out wide as the field headed through Turn 13. He dropped to eighth, before several riders went off around him, and Sofuoğlu crossed the line in sixth.
It was a frustrating end to the weekend for Yamaha MS Racing WorldSSP300 Supported Team’s Unai Orradre, who had begun the race strongly, running inside the top 10 from his 12th-place start. However, on the sixth lap, the bLU cRU youngster fell at Turn 4 and dropped outside of the points, finishing 22nd.
