In FP2, the bLU cRU youngster was once again the class of the field, with both of his best laps good enough for the fastest time in the session. The Turkish rider’s 1'52.629 from FP1 was still the quickest of the day, which was less than half-a-second down on the all-time best WorldSSP300 lap at the Spanish venue.
Elsewhere, bLU cRU affiliated rider Ton Kawakami, fresh from his first-ever podium in the championship, was ninth on combined times after his FP2 effort.
