Grizzly Yamaha Junior Team Looks Forward to Racing on the World Stage

This weekend, Yamaha Motor Europe's youngest Supported team, the Grizzly Yamaha Junior Team, will line up at the thirteenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Loket, Czech Republic, to race the Final round of the European EMX65 and EMX85 Championships. The team is made up of three talented youngsters, twin brothers Sacha and Lucas Coenen from Belgium, and Jayson van Drunen from The Netherlands.

12-year-old twin sensations Sacha and Lucas Coenen are racing YZ85's in the EMX85 class. As the winner of two EMX85 qualifying rounds, in Slovakia and Germany, Sacha will line-up at the world-class venue here in Loket as a hot favorite, while his brother, Lucas, is also expected to challenge the top-ten as a rider who is capable of beating his brother on a good day.

Joining the Belgian duo under the Grizzly Yamaha Junior Team awning is 11-year-old Dutch talent Jayson van Drunen who will race the revolutionary YZ65 as a wild-card entry into the EMX65 Final. Jayson had a challenging start to the season with crashes spoiling his chances of qualifying for the EMX65 Final, but after two stunning performances in the Open Dutch Championship where he has won the previous two rounds, he has earned himself another chance to prove his speed internationally.

The Grizzly Yamaha Junior Team is one tier up from the bLU cRU block of Yamaha's proven Racing Pyramid and is a team that has created a professional environment for the next generation of champions by replicating the structure of the MXGP and MX2 class teams, but on a smaller scale so that it is suited to riders that race YZ65 and YZ85's in the European Championship classes.
